BINGE EATING DISORDER
This study will evaluate the efficacy of Solriamfetol, an orally medication as treatment of Binge Eating Disorder in adults.
Requirements:
• Men & Women 18 - 50 years of age
• Have 3 or more binge episodes per week for the past 3-6 months
• No have been diagnosed with any psychiatric disorder
• Not suffer with Narcolepsy
• Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 18-50 Kg/m2
• No subjects that have taken solriamfetol or lisdexamfetamine.
• No history of anorexia, bulimia, bipolar, psychotic disorder or any psychiatric disorder.
• No history of been taking medication to treat depression symptoms in the last 6 month.
• No history of drug dependence or substance abuse. • No subjects who has attempted suicide within 2 years prior to screening.
• No history of severe head trauma, seizures, Diabetes type 1 or Insulin-dependent.
• No history of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular disease, serious heart arrhythmia.
• No history of cancer in the last 5 years, HIV or active hepatitis B or C infection.
• Subject must have a valid ID and not be participating in another research study
Study Duration:
This study consist in 12 visits within a 3-4 month period
Compensation:
Financial compensation of up to $1,050 for time and transportation efforts to attend study-required visits.
