Miami Dade Medical Research Institute is a multi-specialty research facility offering quality research services for phases I, II, III and IV clinical trials. The site is conveniently located next to the Baptist Health System medical complex.
Our research team are highly trained and dedicated professionals consisting of board certified physician investigators, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Research Coordinators who are also foreign medical graduates. Our physician investigators specialize in internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, psychiatry, neurology, nephrology, obstetrics and gynecology and podiatry.
The facility has multiple examination rooms, laboratory facilities and temperature controlled IP storage rooms. The site has several private rooms equipped with beds, lockers, televisions and tablets with wireless internet access as well as restrooms with showers, a television / theater and kitchenette to accommodate extended stays and or overnight research volunteers. Our site utilizes central and local laboratories that offer flexible pick-up hours. The site can also extend its hours of operation to include a 7 day schedule to accommodate specific study requirements.
The site has designated secure office areas for administration, coordinators, regulatory and CRA/Monitors. These offices have access to a high speed internet connections, telephones, printers and copiers as well as a document scanner and facsimile. The facility also has private offices that are used for consenting research volunteers.
Miami Dade Medical Research Institute utilizes various resources to attract volunteers to our enrolling clinical trials. The Clinical Research Outreach Coordinator routinely liaisons with our network of primary care and specialty physicians and community centers to identify and pre-screen suitable research volunteers. The site also recruits volunteers through IRB approved advertising campaigns, direct mail and participation in community healthcare related special events.
