Diabetes Type II

This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of an oral medication in patients with Type 2 Diabetes controlled solely with Metformin.

Requirements:

• Male or female at least 18 years of age at the time of signing informed consent.

• Be on a stable dose of metformin of 1500 mg/day or more

• Have a BMI more or equal to 25.2 kg/m

• Not have a history of heart failure, stroke, gastrointestinal, hepatic, renal, or cancer.

• Not diabetes type 1 or history of severe hypoglycemia.

• Subject must have a valid ID and not be participating in another research study

Study Duration:

This study contains a total of 14 visits over a period of 52 weeks.
